She gained an Advanced Diploma in Training and Development in 2004, has over 19 years experience in Learning and Development, and many years experience of management.

Val is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute for Learning and is also an Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. Val specialises in four main areas, Management, Assessment and Accreditation, Learning and Personal Development.
