Robust evaluation
We will work with you to create an effective evaluation process of the training we provide. This can be tailored to meet your current procedures, or we can create a new evaluation process specifically for you.
Our own evaluation standard is based on the Kirkpatrick four-stage model of Reaction, Learning, Behaviour, and Results, and in line with curretnCIPD best practice.
Kirkpatrick argues that there are four levels of evaluation:
- Level 1 - Reaction level (Did they like it?)
- Level 2 - Immediate level (Can they do it?)
- Level 3 - Intermediate level (Will they do it?)
- Level 4 - Ultimate level (How much value is added to the organisation? Usually measured by Return on Investment (ROI), but often more appropriately measured for training programmes by Return on Expectation (ROE).
In essence, evaluation measures against objectives at several levels, and we’ll agree these with you from the start. A key part of our approach is the use of behavioural scorecards, which give you an assessement of the percentage growth in skills and confidence before and after the training. A typical percentage growth is around 42% - very useful information when building a business case to swecure precious funds for training.
If you’re looking for a more innovative approach we can use anthropological evaluation. This involves longitudinal evaluation data gathered by, among other techniques, first hand observation, conducting focus groups and a mix of informal conversations and in depth face-to-face interviews.
Quality
We monitor performance and manage service via ISO procedures and we hold BS ISO 9001:2000. We have also been independently accredited with ISO 9001 through Lloyds Register.
Our rigorous consultant recruitment process ensures that we only select the most exceptionally talented consultants for you. We discuss with them in detail the quality of service our clients expect to ensure that you receive the best service.
An integral part of this is our Code of Conduct. We believe that HOW we work with clients is as important as WHAT we produce. We track performance weekly and maintain records on average delegate satisfaction rates. Performance reports are shared with you at the end of each programme.
In the longer term, we use eight key performance criteria for consultants, and review their performance annually.
